With a drastically different design style than the prior owner, these homeowners took the plunge and spent the time, energy, and resources to make their kitchen their very own. With beautiful views of Lake Springfield, the white kitchen with warm accents of reclaimed barn wood now reflects their personal style and captures the relaxed and comfortable setting they were wanting. It is a little polished, a little rustic, beautifully family friendly, and cohesive with the rest of the home.
The transformation of the kitchen and dining space includes all new cabinetry in painted white, crown molding on upper cabinets for a more traditional look, two complimenting pieces of quartz countertops, gray subway backsplash as well as a complimenting mini hexagon shaped tile for the kitchen island backsplash and recessed niche at range. Reclaimed barn wood creates warm accents on the support post, above glass cabinetry and facing of the island. Undercabinet lighting at coffee center and puck lighting in cabinets between kitchen and dining provide the appropriate task lighting to complete existing lighting .
