So exciting to bring the open-concept kitchen style to this 1970's home. Yes, we took down that wall dividing kitchen from dining area. Natural light now flows from living room, through dining room and into the kitchen.
With the goal of a contemporary, minimalist style kitchen, these homeowners planned and saved for their kitchen remodel. Top of their wish list was seeing the removal of the wall dividing spaces and dating the home in a way that just new cabinets and countertops would not be able to remedy. With wall and soffits removed, the new space boasts a young fresh vibe and the transformation is undeniable.
White cabinets to the ceiling, crown moulding and cup pulls play well with the age of home while Milky Way granite in suede finish along with the gray and white backsplash secure the contemporary style. It is simply, clean and peacefully minimalist.
