Design Concept
Natural stone and earth tones never go out of style. Contrast the gentle earth tones with this master bath's beginnings of hunter green floor, brass framed shower door, huge corner garden tub and wall to wall wallpaper complete with vines and columns. In short, a complete "gut job" was in order.
The new design focuses on the beauty and simplicity of nature. The shower walls are real stone, cut very very thin. It is a veined ivory travertine. The tumbled stone tiles create a wonderful bench seat within the shower and carry through over the deck and face of the drop in soaker tub. Cabinetry is maple with a pecan stain, which gives rich tone without being overly heavy and the double bowel vanity boasts great bathroom storage.
